I lost the remote for the TV and cannot seem to access the channel so that my son's game can be played on the TV. It does not show up on channel 3. I also tried navigating the menu from the fron of the TV, tried the channel search already Can anyone offer some advice? Thanks
Re: Cannot access the aux/ line1 or line 2 channels
Same here. I've been working on a way to get around it, but it looks like the only resolve is an RF modulator. ~25 bucks via Radio Shack. Maybe Wal-Mart or a Ma/Pa TV shop in your area has a cheaper one.

1-Maybe your TV aux input is the type where the AUX channel is before channel 2, or after whatever your highest channel number is. If so, you can access that AUX channel by either going channel UP or channel DOWN.
2-If that doesn't work, maybe it's worth the $5 for a cheap universal remote, that you can program, and thereby access the TV INPUT mode.
Tries this go to the tv set itself presss the channels up or down u will get out of the video modes line1 or line 2 u will get out to regular tv signal. If u need a new axact remote go to this website.1-800-Remotes Factory original.
some tv's default to channel 2 after being unplugged.since it is a older tv ,the buttons on the remote and the tv maybe worn down.on the tv itself try pushing the buttons down a liitle harder. if you have aux or line in/video inputs, scroll down on the channel button to log into a aux channel for the dvd player.as for the remote try buying a cheap universal remote to see if that works.
Press channel down until you get to channel 1 then press channel down one more time ,this should give you your AUX.If it doesnt try going into the menu and doing an autoprogram with the video game hooked up and turned on.
VICTORY! Had the same problem with my Orion model FTDV2004. Lost the remote and couldn't program a universal remote to change the input to AV. After a day of reading posts, I just started pushing the channel up button. Somewhere past channel 115 the "Line1" and "Line 2" inputs showed up.
