Question about Toshiba Satellite A105 Notebook

Will not power on. Has power LED lit.

Hello
I have a Toshiba A105-S2101 PSAA5U-01300Q that will not power on. The power LED and the battery charging LED are working fine.I switched the power button board with a nother laptop that works fine with the same results. After stripping everything from system and tried to power it on and it worked. The LED showing that the unit was running came on. I started putting back the parts one by one and trying the power after each one. I got it all back together and it was working fine. I formatted the HDD and clean installed Windows XP and after several usages the system now will not power on. Please help with any ideas.

It's a component, you'll have to take it apart again, and go one by one. It could also be a component connector, be sure to check all connectors for bad wires or corrosion.

I have a Toshiba satellite A135 S4527 laptop. I have purchased a new battery charger (actually 2) and neither will result in the laptop powering up. The charging light is lit. I had this problem some time...

Hello.

The problem could be your battery. Disconnect the adapter. Flip the laptop, unlock and remove and reinsert the battery and try to charge again with the adapter.

If still a problem, this time, disconnect the adapter, remove the battery, reconnect the adapter and try to power on.

If OK, your battery is faulty and needs replacement.

If not, wiggle the adapter where it connects with the laptop. If the power goes off and on, the power jack is faulty and needs soldering or replacement. Should be done by a professional.

If not the power adapter, the mother could be the problem.

Hope these suggestions help.

What should i do if my computer screen stay blank when i turn my computer on

1st you need to know if your computer battery is fully charge. if not charge it

2nd you need to know if your computer power cable is plug-in into your home power supply.

3rd bring it to a computer expert or IT and let them fix it for you. it might be your LCD display is the problem or or your power supply on your laptop. it's more easyly if i can see your computer in personal for what problem is .

Hope it help you out^_^
