The K band keeps going off when I install it in my car with a Viper Alarm with radar field perimeter sensor

See if you can turn off the field perirmeter sensor - these can make detectors alarm. This sensor should have been wired so that it was only on when the alarm was "Armed".

if its when your driving, then its picking up alarm systems.

Getting false alarm from laser. Laser alarm keeps

If the laser continuously falses even with the car's ignition turned off, then your radar detector has an internal electronics problem. If your radar detector frequently or nearly continuously falses for laser while you are driving even in the middle of nowhere, then most likely the cause of the problem is either poor power and ground connections or electrical noise within your vehicle's electrical system. Jump over to radardetector.net for help in resolving these issues.

Does Best Buy install car alarms by viper

Best buy will install viper car alarms, but I would strongly advise against getting any work performed by their techs. I had one installed on my truck and aside from not working properly, the cruise control, heater control unit, power windows, sunroof, and gauge cluster have stopped working. All that on top of intermittent stalling on the interstate. So far the repair estimate from a Toyota dealer is nearing $2000.
While this may be an isolated incident, Best buy will certainly not get any more of my money.

Auto alarm

Hi chris, with just the limited info you posted on this problem, I would say that when the alarm was installed, it was tied into one of the "hot" tail light wires. Tail lights and dash lights usually are together. Might have blowed the fuse for the tail lights, pull it and check it. Was this a do-it-yourself, or professionally installed? If professional, take it back and have them do it right before something gets shorted out,,, Hope this helps you out,, let us know. thanks, Mechanic

Astra van alarm prolem

Most units are fitted behnd the glove box a couple of screws in it & under it, and the whole thing will come out.

if it has an adjustable sensor then there could be a small hole with a - + a small screw driver turns it up or down, it could well be one that needs programing via software inother words there is a set up sequence which puts the alarm in programing mode...

It depends on the manufacturer. (WHAT ALARM IS IT?)
