Please could you tell me the age of the Bernina 1020 and the 1020

Find the serial number, engraved into the metal on the back of the machine or low down on the hand wheel end.

First digit is the decade: 1=1970's, 2=1980's, 3=1990's
Second digit is the year in the decade.

E.g. my 1030 is 27230888 so it was made in 1987.

What comes once in a year, twice in a month,4 times in a week and 16times in a day?

You have mis-worded the riddle. Instead, use:

What will
occur once in "a yEar",
twice in "EvEry month",
4 times in "EvEry wEEk",
and 6 times in "Each and EvEry wEEkEnd" ?

The letter 'E' appears the stated number of times.

How do I reset the Date and Day of the Week on the display of my Avaya phone?

The day program was taken out on newer models of Partner systems where it uses the date to figure out the day of the week.

Changing the date on a Partner system is done on either ext 10 or 11.
At one of those ext's press the feature key and "00"
next press the left hand intercom twice
the display should say system programming
enter in "#101"
the display should say system date and the current data in mm,dd,yy format
enter the new date month, day then year
press feature "00" to logout
If you have an older model Partner system, you'll also have to enter in the day of the week in programming
Press the feature key and "00"
next press the left hand intercom twice
the display should say system programming
enter in "#102"
the display should say system day and the current programmed info
enter the new day, 1= sun, 2= mon, etc.
press feature "00" to logout

NUMBERS ON BLOCK

Hello there:

Casting dates are usually expressed this way, “C 18 4.” In this example, the “C” means the month of
March, “18” is the day of the month, and “4” is the last digit of the year. This last digit may mean ’64, ’
74, ’84 or ’94, so you must also check the other characteristics of the block to determine in which
decade and year it was made. Some parts have the decade and year cast on them; these identifiers
look like this: “C 18 84.” GM introduced new model years in September or October of each year, so
when you see a casting date of “L 16 7” for example, this indicates a casting date used in the 1968
model year because it translates into December 16, 1967. A 1968 model Camaro assembled on
January 6, 1968, might contain a number of parts that were cast in December, 1967. Casting dates
should precede hand-stamped engine assembly dates.
