Question about Panasonic DMR-E55 DVD Recorder
The machine has suddenly decided to only play & record in black & white - excellent picture but no colour any advice appreciated.
The IC (integrated circuit) that controls color might be bad or the filter for the color burst might be defective. In either case a qualified TV repair person should be enlisted to fix this problem. The color burst signal uses vector mathematics to control the color output of your device, it the color burst is removed the picture will display a monochromatic (black and white) picture.
