Road noise I have a 04 f150. My system includes.... Poineer Avic-d3, polk 5x7's front and back, kicker 400.1 and 350.4 amps, with 2 10' kicker Comp subs.. At a low volumn i get some noise coming from the spreakers...and when i accelerate it gets louder...kinda like a whistling noise. How do i make this go away? Thanks, Lee

First what system do you have? The D3 or the 4300. You might check to see if you turned on the rearview camera. If so this could be your problem. The rearview camera comes on when you put the vehicle in reverse, turning off anything else until the vehicle is put back into another gear.

pioneer d3 doesnt read the disk i want it to play

Yellow - Battery
Red - Ignition
Black - Ground
Light Green - E-brake
Purples, greens, whites, and grays - speakers
Purple\white - reverse signal
Blue\white or Blue - amp turn on\ power antenna
Yellow\black - mute wire
Orange or Orange\white - illumination

voice only comes out thru the front speaker, if you hook up amp to rear rca, change to fronts. also speaker outputs, too. btw, did you turn on the voice/volume at the menu??

it probably unclips from the dash, but you have to slide the player out to put the wire in

the d3 will play dvds, and you can buy a cd changer for it seperately.

More information is required to start solving your problem. (ie. your make and model of "1500W amp", the voicecoil configuration of the kicker and Audiobahn 15's, and why you want to encorprate 2 crossovers in your system)

I had the same problem when purchasing mine open box from CircuitCity. But this is how you do it. Pass it on.

While the unit is turned on, press and hold "MENU" and "Back (Track Left)" buttons simultaneously. Next, push and release reset button. Continue to hold "MENU" and "Back (track left)" until the unit reboots.

Is it a whining noise that changes with the accelerator pedal? Do you have aftermarket amplifiers in the car? There are a number of different noises you could be hearing and a number of solutions for each. Also, if aftermarket amplifiers are connected to the front speakers and the Pioneer radio was powered up and RCA's connected to the back, you may have burned out a diode inside the radio and you'll get "engine noise"

Sounds like the output transistors on the amp are blown. Were you slammin when it stopped or how did you find out it stopped working. It could be the sub failed then caused the ap to go which is why you get a little something from the JL.
