Go to device manager and look for display adapters uninstall it and when asked for a reboot please do so. alternately you can uninstall and reinstall the video driver if you are using an agp or pci express card..
if its still there let me know.. you might need to uninstall and reinstall the game as well, first do the above mentioned steps..let me know what happens

go to device manager (rt click my computer-left click properties-than the hardware tab at the top and finally the devicemanager tab) over there look for display adapters, click on the + sign and uninstall the driver and reboot the system upon asking. if you are using an external video card you can also use the cd to uninstall and reinstall the driver..uninstalling and reinstalling the game would be another option but lets not do that rt now.. let me know what happens!!!

This happens to me sometimes. It sometimes depends how you shut down the game.(wheather you ctrl+alt+delete to get into task manager and exit of wheather you shut it down from an option inside the game.) If the screen refuses to return back to its original size, go into the screen settings(right-click anywhere on the desktop and thin click properties) where you are able to change resolution etc. and then just have ago at changing these settings. I hope you found this reply useful.
P.S, if u are running windows vista, after rifght clickign on the desktop click personalize then click "display settings" otherwise if you are running windows xp click on properties.

Hi,

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

SIZE OF SCREEN. LETTERS ETC WAY TO LARGE WHO PUT IT BACK TO NORMAL SIZE

Hold down on the Apple in the upper left-hand corner of your screen.

1. Select System Preferences

2. Click on the Displays icon

3. Selecting a higher resolution will make things smaller in the screen.

· As example: x1024 768 icons and text will be large, 1280 x 1024 icons and text will be smaller.

The Disks runs fine, never have any problems loading ANYTHING on it but when it loads PS1 Games the screen setting becomes quite odd. You dont see the whole screen (game screen) thus game play options dont...

It's not due to the compression at all. It's due to the limitations of the Snoy emulator. PS1 games output to 640×480 pixels (I'm using NTSC here, adjust if you live in PAL areas), but the PSP's screen is 480x272. In order to prevent weird streching, Sony desided to cut the screen size in half. So, the output of the ps1 emu is 320x240, exactly the same size that you see on your psp screen.

If you want to play with the streching, hit the home button, and under "Settings" you can adjust the screen size. Here is what the options do, as far as I know.
  • Fullscreen-changes the output full screen. "Letterboxes" (i.e., small black bars) it a bit to fit the 16x9 ratio.
  • Original-the 320x240 I just discribed above.
  • Normal-Streaches it a bit, and smooths out the picture
  • Zoom-Streches the picture even futher so that the width is equal to the width of the screen size.
Mind you, none of these modes ever make the emulator output a "better" picture with more pixels defined. They are all just streching of the 320x240 screen. I think this is because the psp is at it's limits, and rendering the extra pixels would lag the game too much.

Large text

The first thing to check is the preferences for display. It sounds from what you say like it is there that the problem lies.

Right click anywhere on the desktop EXCEPT on an icon, and choose the bottom option "Personalize" from the menu that appears. On the left is an option called "Adjust font size (DPI)" start by checking that this is set to 96 and not the larger 120dpi.

You might also like to change the Theme back to Windows Vista and see if that fixes it. These options should change your screen back to the way it was.

Dell C840 Increasing resolution increase screen size and vice versa

Laptops when running in non native resolutions sometimes tend to use a small area, so that the bluring of text is not noticeable. The reason is that laptop text is only sharp in its native resolution, and in your case the possibility is that your native resolution is 1600x1200 (If you can post the exact model or a link with your machine configuration, I can confirm what the native resolution is).

However you can make the icons and text larger, the best way is to and change the font size in windows (display settings) from the normal to large or extra large. This makes all the fonts much larger and easy on the eye, and it also will keep the text large as you are still running it in native solution mode.
