I click download yahoo messenger and one box says verifying msgr10us.exe from xp.yimg.com but when I click run it just disappears and doesnt install.then I saved it to desktop and it still wont open.I have disabled firewall and everything I can think of.its like something is still blocking it

Uninstall YM 9

Install Yahoo! Messenger 10 instead by this link:

When prompted, save the .exe file to your desktop. Then double click the Yahoo! Messenger 10 file on your desktop to begin installation.

I had my xp stem crashj and was restored. But cannot find the messenger i downloaded. It said problems with the down load. I clicked start again and I have done this several times. i need yahoo messenger...
Hi there, might as well re-install Yahoo messenger, windows system recovery is not that perfect and the crash might have corrupted the files.. This is the best advice i can give.
