Hi, I have Opcode Musicshop 2.0.2 and I would like to install it on my Macbook (System Mac OS X 10.2.11). When I try to open the installation files of Musicshop, there's a window opnening telling me: Impossible to Install cause this program doesn't work on that system. Is there a way to solve the problem ? Thanks, Luc.

SOURCE: I had Opcode MusicShop 1.0

I have musicshop 1 and have loaded it onto an osx mac with classic. Unfortuantely, even with the right codes it will not run under classic. It opens, appears to be fine, will read the files but then will not play them. in fact it will do nothing with them. Good luck in finding a solution. Only solution I can come up with is get an old mac, load it all, convert files to midi, and transfer them to a modern program.

Reset button

Hi Terry, Are you wanting to set your computer back?
If so.
You need to boot the system to the Recovery HD. Hold down Command+r key at startup. Open Disk Utility and erase the Macintosh HD. Exit out of DU and select Reinstall Mac OS X. Select Macintosh HD as the place to install to and wait for OS to be downloaded from the net. The computer will restart when the download is finshed and the install will start.

How do you resest pram

I would try starting the machine up in single user mode you do this by booting your machine up and then immediately press and hold the command (Apple) key and the s key. If you do not know how to reboot press down the command-control-power key at the same time.

Once you get white text appearing on a black background at the command line prompt type /sbin/fsck -fy then press return. The machine will then go through some testing and then hopefully it will tell you that your hard drive is okay. If it says that the file system has been modified run the comand again i.e. /sbin/fsck -fy When the fsck command reports that your hard drive is okay type reboot at the prompt and then press return. Hopefully your computer will boot up okay after this.

My macbook when i uploading i turn off macbook and i turn on macbook didn't boot up just see turn around aound forever not go to windows i lost system disk unable to boot macbook

Check for a failing hard drive
Trying booting from the Mac OS X install disc. insert the Mac OS X install disc. press the start button, while holding down the "C" key on the keyboard
Once you are running from the disc. go to Disk Utilities select the hard drive click the "repair permissions" button at the bottom.
If you get any red errors listed or it doesn't seem to finish repairing the permissions you have a failing hard drive and it will need to be replaced.
If the repair permissions finishes without any problems. You will have to reinstall the operating system.

How can i download stuff on my macbook, it says cannot run dos mode, and chinese letters what should i do so i can dowload imesh ?

Unless you have installed a Windows emulator like Parallels or Bootcamp, you cannot easily run .exe files on your Mac with a Mac OS. It will not run dos mode in Mac OS.
You can:
1. Install an emulator.
2. Try Winebottler. It's in beta, but it creates stand alone apps for Mac OS 10.6 from Windows apps.

Mac OS will run some Chinese characters. It is available as a language pack directly from Apple's website, including Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese and Korean.
