I just now opened new this Coby MP-C7085 MP3 player. Charged it and went into settings. Set the date and time and tried to back out to the main menu. Stuck. won't go. The back key works for getting back from lower levels in other menus, but just not back to the main menu. The 'M' key doesn't even take me there. The Colby Customer service if od no help and since I bought it at Christmas time, the 90 day warranty does not apply even though I just opened it. They have no access to the firm ware to reload or any downloadable fixes. Nothing is available on their website for this either

You just click on My Pictures on the start menu, on the right hand side. Then you repeat this step, but click My Computer. At the bottom you should see an icon that says Removable disk (E:). You click that, and you should see the folders of your coby mp3 player. Now you just drag a picture from the My Pictures program to Pictures on the coby mp3 player folder, and THERE YA GO!!!
These players are plagued with problems! I have the 2gb version which does the same thing. I gave up on trying to use its internal battery and bought a usb charging cord for use in my car. I just unplug the cord from the cig lighter socket when I'm done using it. If it doesn't shut off, which is 99.9 percent of the time, then it just runs its battery down until it finally shuts off. It's a shame this player doesn't work as good as it looks...
i suggest that maybe device(player) wo't work because it didnt get charged long enought or it can be brokeing if you drop it or maybe you should re -turn it at the store because the wires in the device(player) might be messed.
