Question about Maytag Neptune MDE4000 Electric Dryer
Can I remove the screen on the inside of the dryer drum that covers the lint trap area?
I dropped the long nose attachment from my sweeper into the lnt trap area and if I can remove the screen I can reach in and remove the sweeper attachment. I unscrewed the one screw I can see, but the screen doesn't fall off the drum. Do I have to pull it off?
My son used a coat hanger to pull the attachment out of the space. Then we carefully opened the top opening enough to let the top of the attachment pass out. I never did find a way to open the space to get a hand in to pull out the attachment.
