Why is my Powerbolt beeping?
http://www.kwikset.com/Customer-Support/Product-FAQs/Faq/50160000000HhhEAAS.aspx

Follow this link to find out how to remove the cover for your Powerbolt:

http://www.kwikset.com/Customer-Support/Product-FAQs/Faq/50160000000HhhEAAS.aspx

This link:

http://s7d5.scene7.com/is/content/BDHHI/40486-02

is the "manual" for the installation of the lock. Programming instructions are found on Page 6.

I'd recommend changing the 4 alkaline AA batteries at the same time.

Good luck--and please provide feedback if this helps!

Try pressing 111111, that should let you open the safe

If you want to change the combination code follow this steps:

• Press 111111 and leave it pressed down untill you hear 4 beeps in total, then press number 3 once (that should erase the code you had previously)

• Again, press 111111 and leave it pressed until you hear 4 beeps in total, then press number 1 once. (That should put the SecuRam in lock process.

• Now press 000000. Input once 123456 (you’ll here 2 beeps, now input your desired code, it will beep twice, again input your desired code until it beeps 2 times. (If it beeps 3 times means code wasnt accepted. Try again)

Baldes locked up

Ensure blades are sharpened. If there are burs on blades they can seize.
Blades should be lubricated with WD40 , waste oil or other lubricant.
The bolts holding the two blades together shouldn't be too tight.

Unit is functioning o.k., but getting green light flashes about every 10 seconds. Batteries and connections are o.k.. Can't find anything in the manual or on Weiser website as to a solution.

reset all code and retry...

  1. To program the first code, press the reset button once, then enter your 4-8 digit code on the exterior keypad, then immediately press the middle lock button on the exterior keypad. You will hear a beep. This signals that your code has been accepted.
  2. To program the second code, press the reset button twice , then enter your 4-8 digit code on the exterior keypad, then immediately press the middle lock button on the exterior keypad. You will hear a beep. This signals that your code has been accepted.
