Question about Pioneer AVH-P5700DVD Car DVD Player
I had the same problem with my AVH-P5000dvd. If u tryin 2 have the dvd on while driving u goin to have leave the clamp on the park brake wire so u can connect the clamp to a wire to 1 end of a toggle switch and the other wire for the ground to the switch. U gonna need 2 cut the switch off and on everytime u shut the car off but it will work.

I have the AVH-P5000DVD unit and that happen to me. I tuned on the Backgound (inside the DVD AV menu) in the system menu and lost the picture but still had the audio. I set it back to off and the video came back.
