Question about Apple iPod nano 3rd Generation
Plug your IPod into the dock or cable. Do a restore or you IPod to get it back to factory settings. Download some songs into it. Make sure that your connection is good and if you use a dock, make sure that is properly seated.
If it continues you may want to replace the cable.
