I have a WD-52725. When I came home tonight I had noticed that the power had went out at the home. The timer light was blinking green. I do have a surge protector. I tried reset and turning the power off...

Thats a common problem caused by weak caps on the DM and Power boards. When the power goes out the caps drain then cannot recharge so the syeady blinking timer light will happen. You can get the V26 Chassis DM / Power repair kit from which has the replacement caps and the CD with repair instructions.

Picture flickers

Check C2V29 [location on board] a 16 volt 22Mf cap, replace this and C2P05 [location on board] a 16 volt 100Mf cap and replace. These are located on the signal board, it is the one with all the A/V jacks. You will be amazed at the repair. This is tedious and requires great care, use caution and please take your time. Thanks for asking and good luck!

RCA D52W20 has no anode cap (Discharge how)

On end of the red wire from the flyback to the top center of your CRT (picture tube) there is an anode cap. Get a wire clip and a long screw driver that has an insulated handle. Attach one end of clip wire to known ground on TV chassis and the other end to the screwdriver. Now carefully slide tip of screwdriver under the anode cap. You should hear a little snap. Now the CRT is discharged.

Good Luck, Big Irish.

Mitsubishi WS-65513 light blinking

If the light continuously blinks, there are four(4) caps, 10000upf @ 35v that are bad on the DM board. The board is on the right side of the chassis, looking from back, the caps will be swollen on the top. The repair is more cost effective then replacing the board.
