SOURCE: car seat instructions

Here is the link to the online manual for the 2007 Perego Car Seats. give it a few seconds to load. It will be a white page while it loads.

Follow the remove instructions in reverse. It is difficult to describe, but the pictures are very helpful.

SOURCE: need help rethreading safety strap

My son has special needs so I must wash his seat often. I can not remember how to put the straps locks back so...

First, whenever I wash the car seat cover, I rethread the straps immediately. I only unhook one at a time and look at the one that is still threaded to see how to re hook the one I am working on.

Since you can't do that at this point, I suggest going to a store that sells car seats, look at how the straps are hooked and if you have a picture phone - take a photo!

Can you re thread straps on maxi cosi tobi?

Hi

Due to the safety implications of this being incorrectly done it should not be attempted at home. The carseat needs to come in for our engineers to re-thread the harness and ensure it is performing as it should be.

Please visit www.maxi-cosi.com and select the country you're in, then use the "Contact Us" tab for your enquiry to go through to the customer care team in your country who can provide further assistance.

I recently removed the cover of my maxi cosi priori car seat to wash it. Now I cannot work out how to put it back on. Basically I have unhooked both shoulder straps that I think were previously threaded...

Good Afternoon

Go to www.maxi-cosi.com and select the CabrioFix carseat to download a replacement instruction manual for details of how to replace the fabric.

The harness should not have been completely removed from the carseat in order to remove the fabric. If the harness has been completely removed we cannot advise that you re-thread it due to the safety implications of it being incorrectly done. In this instance please contact the customer service department on 01284 413 141 Mon-Fri 8.30-4.30 to discuss the carseat being sent to our engineers for them to re-thread the harness.

How to thread the straps?

After heavy digging, I found the instruction manual for my Alpha Omega Elite 3-in-1 Car Seat #22-755-MAC and scanned it. If you are still interested, let me know your email address and I'll send the section that covers the straps. The entire document is about 8MB. I can send that if your email service can handle it. On the other hand, if you know of an ftp site I can drop it on, let me know.

I have a Safety 1st baby carseat, it's a 22-391-MLO. I need to know how to put the straps back in!

each end of the long strap should be threaded up through the slots on either side of the baby's bottom, and then through the diagonal slots even with baby's shoulders. There is a clasp on the back of the car seat that you can thread each end through and adjust to the proper length.

How do I remove the straps so that I can lift the straps for a bigger baby?

The straps are usaully threaded through the back and a large buckle holds them in place, if this is the type you have you just thread the buckle through to the front and then lift starps and thread through to the higher hole. failing this take it back to where you bought it and ask, or if you bought it off the internet take it into your nearest baby item seller and they will be able to show you.

You're trying to unattach the straps from the wrong end....flip the car seat over and on the very bottom there is a little gold clip that pops out and you can push through the hole.

Need instructions on putting together

Here's a link to a photo of the Century Breverra. From the photo at this website, I was able to figure it out. http://www99.epinions.com/review/Century_Breverra_Ascend_Sport/content_22722481796

First, thread the strap through the piece that clicks into the crotch point. Then, thread the strap through the **** on the seat just to the side of the crotch lock. Run the strap under the chair and through the **** on the opposite side of the bottom of the lock. Then, run it through both sides of chest lock, up through the shoulder points and lock it in the back. You're done!

It's not very eloquent but hope it helps!

HARNESS FOR FRONT FACING EVENFLO TITAN CHILD RESTRAINT

there is another thread on this.

Basically, locate the ends of the straps on either side of the seat. You can remove the plastic end thingy and take the strap out. Then re-thread the strap. Remember to thread it through the thin grey strap (which adjusts the tension of the main shoulder straps) as well as the little metal guide at the back of the chair.

Your problem may also be that the length-adjuster (thinner grey strap) is too tight. You can loosen it by pressing on the button located just in front of the main buckle and pulling on the shoulder straps. This is also how you tighten the shoulder straps - by pulling on the thinner grey strap.

Generally, the shoulder straps should come out around the childs shoulder level. Higher is ok. Lower is bad because it doesn't secure him in.
