I have a Sony DSC-T1

I have a Sony DSC-T1 camera. The view in the screen prior to taking apicture has a red hue and small vertical lines.
When you take a picture and view it, it is very dark and red in color. The flash does work.
If you set the camera to video, the image in the viewer is crystal clear as well as a video after taking it.
Can you help?
