I have a Braun 7570 and it is marvelous! I replace foil and cutter every year. This time after replacing it the shaver did not cut my hair. Battery still gets full charge. What is the problem?

Most likely, the 'drive unit' is bad. The drive unit is a component that consists of the swivel frame that the head snaps onto and the motor. Excessive noise while the shaver is running is also a major sign that this part is bad.
Unfortunately, Braun no longer provides these type of replacement parts for any of their shavers. You may end up needing to replace the unit.
Since you apparently like that model and you have spare shaver heads for it, you might want to consider a compatible model as a replacement. shaveroutlet.com has a new model that uses the same foils and cutters as your 7570. You can see it at the link below

Series 3 - 340, my father wants replacement foil & cutter, where can I order one from please.

Braun makes two distinctly different models, both with called seroes 3-340. You will need the type number as written on the shaver to properly identify the correct foil and cutter for his shaver. Both types are available at shaveroutlet.com. See the two links below. You will need to use the type number of his shaver to select the correct one of these two

Shaver started making a much louder buzzing sound, no longer shaves as well and now hurts a bit to use. Can this be fixed?

Hello Robert, It sounds like the foil screen might have been damaged and is causing poor shaving performance. Typically, a screen will get small holes or tears in it after providing good service for some years, however, these very thin screen foils, can get damaged other ways too.

The best way to restore the best shaving performance is to replace both the foil screen AND the cutter head block (cutter head) as it could be possible that the cutter blades have become damaged or nicked and have caused the foil screen to become damaged, as a result.

I would contact www.electricshaver.com and see if you can purchase a new set of the cutter block head and the screen foil for your particular Braun shaver model. As the Braun 360 is a tradename used on a couple of different model numbers, you really need the four (4) digit model number in order to locate the correct replacement parts.

Here's a link to their page with the various Braun replacement cutter blocks and foil screens. You might find your model number amoung them, otherwise, you can also give them a call at 1-888-476-1785 and ask them to assist you with selecting the proper replacement parts.

http://www.electricshaverstore.com/get_list_125.htm

As you are no doubt aware, replacing the cutter head and foil screen is the best and simplest way to restore an electric shaver to a like new shaving condition and much less expensive than replacing the entire shaver.

I hope you find this Very Helpful and best regards!

Remington M8221 Help

STEPS

• Thoroughly clean the razor cutter area
• Pull off (straight out) cutters and lay aside
• Release spring clips and remove
• Gently pry up and remove rubber boot
• Pry case open starting at cutter end and bending up toward connector end
• Thoroughly clean razor interior area (blow out)
• Pull up motor and remove black oscillator bars
• Pry up the circuit board by releasing the cutter-end catch using a small tool to push it in while prying gently up on the cutter-end of the board and bending up
• Clean the board and turn it over
• Note battery polarity and mark on board if not present already
• Unsolder the battery tabs using unsolder braid. Be careful not to short the electrical circuitry as the batteries are electrically LIVE at this point.
• Remove the old batteries and fully clean off the circuit board solder-pads using unsolder braid.
• Mark the installation date on the new batteries in a place where it will be visible
• Install new batteries, making sure the polarity is correct (cut the tabs to a correct length if they extend too far through the circuit board)
• Solder the battery tabs being careful not to short the electrical circuitry as the batteries are electrically LIVE at this point
• Re-install the circuit board and other parts following the procedure in the reverse order (be sure to put a soft rubber pad over the motor to hold it firmly in place when the upper case half is snapped in place)
• Before installing the metal retaining clips be sure that the rubber boot is fully free and not pinched between the case halves
• Finalize the assembly by reinstalling the cutters and screen
