If you can download CCleaner then run that program and then try to download iTunes. If that doesn't work after, then you may have to fix the registry for any issues there.

Hi I am unable to use itunes on my computer. I installed and its asking to turn off the compatibity mode. And also I cannot view summary, photo etc tab on my iphone device.

Hi

First of all

1. Exit out of iTunes.

2. On the Windows Start Menu select Computer or My Computer Depending on the OS

3. Browse to the following location: C:\Program Files\iTunes.
Note: Windows 7 (64 bit)browse to C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes.

4.Right-click on the iTunes application (iTunes or iTunes.exe) and select Properties.

5. Next select the Compatibility tab.

6.
Ensure that the options Run this program in compatibility mode and Run this program as an administrator are not checked. If they are checked please deselect these options, then select Apply, and OK. You should now be able to open iTunes with out receiving the error message about iTunes running in compatibility mode.

This should fix your problem.Still if your facing the same problem after performing the following steps:-

7. Open the Registry Editor by selecting the Windows Start button, typing regedit into the search box or the run box depending which OS your using eg- xp,vista,7 and then pressing Enter.

8.
Browse to the following location in the registry editor, HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\AppCompatFlags\Layers, and highlight the Layers folder.

9. Delete the entry for the iTunes application (iTunes or iTunes.exe).

10. Close registry editor and restart the computer

You should now be able to open iTunes without receiving the error message about iTunes running in compatibility mode.If not please reply

Thanks & Regards

I am trying to download OmniFormPremium50.exe onto a computer running Windows XP Pro. I downloaded the software from the Nuance website and it is currently in the downloads section of my computer; however...

I looked at the specs for this program and did not see Windows XP listed as an operating system that this software on. It does say the program will run on "any platform" but the information may be dated. Here is the site that I looked at:

http://wareseeker.com/Business-Finance/omniform-premium-5.0.zip/3d1596d667

I found another site that has a version of the program that runs on XP, although it seems to cost more. Here's a link to that site:

http://www.nuance.com/omniform/premium/

I'm wondering if it is possible that you have a version that does not run on XP. I don't know where you obtained your version but I would check the source to verify that it runs on XP before trying to figure out this problem any further.

Hope this helps. Good luck!

Unable to download itunes set-up.

Vista is not a great program to install this but it can be done. first remove itunes and QuickTime from the control panel The new version of iTunes takes care of a lot of compatibility issues with Vista. ensure that you download the latest version of iTunes.

Unable to Expand a Folder from my XP CD that I NEED!

Have you tried to copy the compressed folder from the disc to your computer desktop and open it there? Give that a try and see if it works.... I have had this happen to a couple customers at work and I just copied the folder from the disc onto the desktop, opened it there and re-installed it. Or you could also try a repair install of the OS but it does carry the possibility of losing your data and programs.

Apple ipod problem

hi phipps42,
Theres a few things you can try:
1. Update to itunes 8
2. uninstall itunes, and reinstall it
3. can you access it while logged into an account? Out of an account?
If none of these work, download the Itunes vista patch fix here
iTunes and vista is like trying to stick a finger covered in alumiunum foil in the electrical outlet lol, vista is microsoft, itunes is apple. Rival OS companies.
Hope this helps.

Xp error message

Try the following:
  1. Click Start > Run.
  2. Type regedit
  3. Click OK.

Note: If the registry editor fails to open the threat may have modified the registry to prevent access to the registry editor. Security Response has developed a tool to resolve this problem. Download and run this tool, and then continue with the removal.
  4. Navigate to and delete the following entries:

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\"dc2k5" = "C:\WINDOWS\SVIQ.EXE"
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\"Fun" = "C:\WINDOWS\system\Fun.exe"
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\"dc" = "C:\WINDOWS\dc.exe"
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows\"run" = "C:\WINDOWS\system32\config\Win.exe"
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\"Shell" = "Explorer.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\WinSit.exe"
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows\"load" = "C:\WINDOWS\inf\Other.exe"
  5. Exit the Registry Editor.
