Instillation of web cam will not complete, after update it just says installing. this was an hour ago. thied it again same thing just stalled out.

If the driver is the original one ..just remove it if appears in programs ..and remove the internet connection ..and let it install the driver like it is on the disk ..or even cancel the driver update if you can ..probably during the update it had the error that made it behave like this ..In fact i suggest to install the driver without the camera connected ..and only connect the camera after that and let it install automatically when you restart the computer

Does it have any codes? Not a Dodge tech but my assumption is something is getting hot and cutting out. The question would be what... Throttle position sensor going bad, mass airflow sensor needing cleaning would be a prime suspect, cam sensor or something along those lines.

you can complete remove driver of your web cam, run any registry cleaner and install again if you have driver other wise search the right driver on web.

My laptop comes on and all I can get is the Vista screen and the message 'installing 3 of 3 updates 0% complete. Please don't shutdown your computer'. I can't get a menu or anything. What can I do to get...

Your computer has downloaded and installed a few updates. You need to allow the laptop to complete this sequence of events. Once completed your computer will boot just like normal. If you do shutdown the computer before the installation is complete you may have to download and install the same updates again. This is perfectly normal...do not take your computer to a repair shop!

Try deleting the complete camera software and drivers, reboot.
And then download the old version again from Acer.
This should work again.

UNPLUG THE CAM AND LOOK IN DEVICE MANAGER.FIND YOUR CAM AND UNINSTALL THE DRIVERS.REBOOT.DOWNLOAD NEW DRIVERS FROM WEBSITE FOR CAM.MAKING SURE ITS THE RIGHT MAKE AND MODEL AND ITS THE DRIVERS FOR YOUR OS.THEN REBOOT.PLUG CAMERA BACK IN.SYSTEM WILL DETECT IT AND LOAD THE DRIVERS.HOPE THIS HELPS.RICHARDM69PS I BELIEVE YOUR ORIGINAL DOWNLOAD BECAME CORRUPTED DURING INSTALL/DOWNLOAD UNINSTALL OLD REBOOT AND INSTALL NEW

Shut down your computer and than re-start again if your cam isnt working .

Go to start- control panel- look for add and remove programs and delete your web cam and than

Re-stall all the cd's that came with your cam.

Dont for get to re-boot after (re-stalling) your cam
