Question about Xerox Phaser 8400 Laser Printer
I have a refurbished Xerox Phaser and it seems that after the printer repair guy visited an put in a new clutch and put those cable tie things on the printer drawer pegs it's much more sensitive to the ink scratching off the page. Is it possible the fuser isn't getting so close to the paper? Or is this always a real problem -I just have to look at the page and the ink scratches off. -impossible to send out to clients it's just too sensitive to damage.
Any help greatly appreciated.
An 860 has no fuser. That sounds more like either a maintenance kit or transfix roller needs replaced.
