Hello,
There are two things that you can check before you really need to start and take it apart
1-Perfrom a hard reset. To do this, turn on the receiver than physically disconnect the power to it for about 15 seconds. Re-connect and test
2-Check the back to see if there are any fuses. If so see if any are blown.
If these solutions do not help, than it may be necessary to take it in for repair.
Good Luck

I have a Toyota Hilux 2KD but having a problem with the cluster on fuel gauge and temperature gauge?

If you are having a problem with the fuel gauge and temperature gauge on your Toyota Hilux 2KD, there could be several possible causes. Some potential reasons for this issue include:
  • A faulty or damaged cluster: The cluster is the instrument panel on your vehicle that houses the gauges and displays important information such as the fuel level and engine temperature. If the cluster is faulty or damaged, it may not be able to accurately display the readings from the gauges.
  • A faulty or damaged fuel level sensor: The fuel level sensor is responsible for measuring the amount of fuel in the tank and sending that information to the cluster. If the sensor is faulty or damaged, it may not be able to accurately measure the fuel level and the gauge may not display the correct reading.
  • A faulty or damaged temperature sensor: The temperature sensor is responsible for measuring the engine temperature and sending that information to the cluster. If the sensor is faulty or damaged, it may not be able to accurately measure the temperature and the gauge may not display the correct reading.
In order to diagnose and fix the problem, it is recommended to have the vehicle assessed by a qualified mechanic. They will be able to diagnose the specific cause of the issue and recommend the appropriate repair. It is important to address any issues with the gauges on your vehicle promptly, as they can affect the safety and performance of your vehicle.

Land rover discovery 3

You will not fix this yourself. You need to get the fault codes read by a professional shop that can identify the cause - most probably a faulty connection, or a failed control unit

Intermittant failure LED display of my TEAC SR-L50 Clock Radio

Hi,

Offhand, the failure of the 2 segments would seem to be intermittent (granted affected by humidity). Technically, I would suspect a case of cold solder. They could be replaced or if you know somebody who could solder, then it is a matter of re-heating the joints and adding a dab of soldering lead.

Display goes off when it is sunny

Are you sure it's actually turning off? One of the complaints I read when reviewing the camera before purchase was that the display could be unviewable in bright light. It would be quite unexpected for the screen to actually go dark in bright light and miraculously come back on in the shade... The camera has a viewfinder and I bought it with one for just this type of circumstance.
