I tryed to reformat my acer 3610 aspire and it froze when formatting and now it says "NTLDR is missing" and wont boot from the cd so i tryed to access bios and it had password so i attempted it with online common passwords, now it id disabled , it still boots but the same "NTLDR is missing" is still present with bootable XP home in drive any help?

Good day sir/maam, the ntldr missing is usually caused by a change in chipset, or mother board, in your case laptop. you may need to reformat the hard drive. Reinstall the OS. hoipe this helps. feel free to ask again. let me know your progress. thanks
NTLDR is system files it is corrupted in your computer. SO you have to repair your operating sytem. If you have recovery disk then boot your computer with that disk then recover your OS. For that when you power up the computer press F1 or F2 or "del" key to enter in bios. Then go to boot option then set first boot device as your cd or dvd rom then save settings and exit. Then follow the procedure on screen then choose "r" optionj when it find your previous installation of OS. Let me know if you need more assistanse. Thanks.
