Kenmore HE2plus Front loading/ model 4754. Full of rinse water. Will not eject the water. Flashing an F-21 error. What is the F-21 problem,

disconnect the heating element, do a wash and if it goes through the hole of the wash with just cold wash then the resistance in the heater element is gone. even if element works it can still be the problem as the computer reads the resistance on drain cycle.

F21 on the tech sheet says Long Drain If the drain time exceeds 8 minutes the water valve turns off.
NOTE: After 4 mins the "Sd" error will be displayed then 4 mins later the f/21 error code will be displayed.
Press Stop two times to clear the display.

(Solutions:) Check drain hose
unplug washer and check electrical connections at pump
Check filter for foreign objects
If these fail it says to replace pump.

F24 is a water temperature sensor error. You have to unplug the washer and check the water temperature sensor and its connections, if that is fine then check the resistance of the heating element and the part that is bad should be replaced. Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.

F21 error code is displayed when the washer is unable to drain, press PAUSE/CANCEL button twice to clear the display. After this please check the drain hose and drain pump filter for any blockages and make sure it is not clogged with foreign particles. You can also check the drain pump to verify that its working. Check for the drain hoses(both sides of the pump) and check for a blockage,then check the pump for blockage,there should be 4 impellers on this pump and they can get broken off by coins and debris.

Hi,

"F33" means that the CCU has not received a signal to shut off the water which would be sent by the pressure switch. The flow meter has signaled that the tub has received 10.5 gallons the CCU then shuts off the water and pumps the water out, giving the F33 error code.

"F21" is a Long Drain error. If the drain time exceeds 8 minutes this error code will be displayed. In addition, a "SUDS" error may also be displayed. This may be an indication of a drain pump problem and/or clog in the drain line. You will need to check the following:


1.First, attempt to unplug the washer for at LEAST 30 minutes to reset the Central Control Unit (CCU). Sometimes this is all that is required to correct momentary glitches with the unit. If the error code returns, proceed to step 2.
2.Check the drain hose to make sure it is not kinked or clogged.
3.Check the electrical connections to the pump and ensure the pump is running.
4.Remove the drain pump filter and check for foreign objects and/or debris.


If the above procedures do not correct the problem, it is recommended by the manufacturer to replace the drain pump.

THIS IS TEMPORARY FIX, NOT A TOTAL SOLUTION. jUST TO GET WATER TO DRAIN AND RESET WASHER. , WITH WASHER POWERED OFF, PUSH AND HOLD START BUTTON FOR 4 SECONDS, RELEASE FOR 4, PUSH FOR 4 RELEASE FOR 4 UNTIL THE FRONT ALL LIGHTS UP AND DISPLAYS 88. sOON YOU WILL SEE YOUR CODES FLASHING, PRESS START BUTTON AS MANY TIMES NEEDED TIL NO MORE CODES FLASHING. tHEN WASHER WILL GO INTO DIAGNOSTIC TEST. aFTER THAT I DO NOT KNOW, BUT YOU CAN WASH 1 LOAD OF CLOTHES AND THEN PERFORM DIAGNOSTIC TEST AGAIN. If the water temperature sensor NTC value is out of range (23 F to 217 F to 103F C) during the water-heating step of the WASHcycle.
NOTE:To find corrrect Ohm reading refer to the water temperature sensor in TECHNICION ONLY section.
Possible couse/Procedure
1.- Unplug washer or disconect power.
2.*check the water senser and conection to it.
3.-check resistence of heating element, if present on this model(abnormal=indifinity)
4.-refer to the water Temperature Sensor section

Am sorry but F7 error code is not in the information system.

Apparantly the F21 error means there is a drain problem...I removed the drain hose from the output in the wall and held it down at ground level and let it drain into a pot...I ran the rinse, drain and spin cycle while I did this but before I hit the start button I hit the 2nd rinse button to turn off the rinse portion of the cycle. It seems to be draining fine now.
