My ipod got got in the washer and got washed

Yes there is something you can do. Put rice in a sealable container and place your ipod in the rice. try to cover the ipod completely. the rice is a good sponge for water and it is almost the only way you can fix a waterlogged ipod.

Okay so my mom washed my clothes with out asking me and...

the warranty wont cover water damage.

No they wont repair it for free, if at all.
Theres water inside and its probably done some damage already, you would have to take it apart and dry it completely, it might improve, it might not..

let me know how that goes.

IPod went through the washer.

Open it to see if the Lithium battery is swollen. If it is you might only have to replace it. If you have tried to turn it on much while wet, your Pod is Pot. Sorry,

8gb nano ipod not working

remove screws, pull apart, let air dry or try drying with hair dryer. don't recommend pulling screen apart. There is several layers of the screen. It is hard to remember what order the screen layers go. But still take apart for better drying.

Ipod nano went thru washer, now won't work

I did the exact same thing to my iPod nano 3rd gen. I discovered it by the noise it made in the dryer when it fell out of the pocket. Clack! Clack! It seemed dead, but it made a full recovery. What I did was put it on the dashboard of my car for a couple of sunny days to dry out, recharged it, and it was fine. If you have particularly hard water, maybe you'd want to try dipping it in some distilled water just to get rid of any mineral residue before drying it out. I'm impressed with how tough these dudes are. Good luck.

My ipod nano wont do anything

Press and hold the center button while pressing down on the menu buttton. The Apple logo will appear. This will reboot your Ipod.

If that doesn't work, restore your Ipod to factory settings by plugging your Ipod into Itunes and select restore to factory settings from you Ipod settings in Itunes.

Ipod nano 4GB is WET

Greetings Goldenlily13,

As a mom who did the exact same thing to her 14 year olds Ipod, I can totally empathize. However the only solution I came up with was to purchase a new Ipod. My daughter still has her original one due to sentimental value, it was engraved. It still has not ever worked again and this happened in March.

Sorry I don't have a better solution.

My ipod nano wont do anything

I think your ipod is dead. This happened to me to. I was listening to it when I arrived at my destination, and I thought I turned it off and I put it in my pocket. Later that day when I went to listen to it, it wouldn't turn on at all. Aparently, it had stayed on. Hold the pause button for five to ten seconds. The apple symbol will appear on your ipod. Immeadility put it in your docking station before it goes away. Your ipod will turn on, and itwill start charging.

I hope this helps. Please rate my solution.
