Question about Pioneer AVIC-N2 Car DVD Player
I tried to install my AVIC-N2 today and i got everything hooked up and then went to turn it on and it wont do anything.. i took the removable faceplate off and there is a little red light that is blinking i don't know what i am doing wrong or if this unit even works... any advice is much appreciated
The blinking light is the anti theft light. When face plate is off this light always blinks. As far as the system not working, make sure you have power, check with a voltmeter, then check fuses. Check the fuses on the wire harness and also where you connected the power leads to the vehicle. If you have power, make sure that all wires are connected correctly. Also, check the ports on the stereo and gps unit to make sure no pins are bent over. Sometimes this may happen. If all looks good, there could possibly be a problem with the system. Expensive to get fixed, but there are a few guys on ebay that will fix it for around $150. Might be worth it, but you need to talk to them about that.
