I drove my 2001 Windstar to work with no problem, went out to go to lunch and the engine would not start. Put battery charger on it, but it says it is fully charged.

Charger may say battery is fully charged but it may only be a surface charge. As batteries get older they lose their ability to charge as deeply. Sounds like yours is dieing. You can confirm by having any good parts store or shop "load test" it for you.

Check and clean the battery posts first. Do the headlights work ok, and dim when you turn key to start?
Any clicking?

Try staarting in neutral. turn key to on, apply brake, shift to neutral, try to start.

PO106 check engine on Kia Forte after battery died

did you check that battery is charging with a multi meter ? could be that your alternator has a fault . Icheck battery voltage with engine off and running , voltage should be approx. 12.48v with engine off and around 14v running . if no increase in voltage when running brushes in alternator will need replacing .

2002 windstar wouldnt start jumped and started. then no start

Hi, chances are you have at least one bad battery cable. Check them with an ohm meter. If you have any resistance in your reading, say above 0.02 change your cable. Hope that helps.

2002 ford windstar first wouldnt start, jumped and started, drove 200 miles and turn

You need to have the factory security system scanned, it is most likely locking you out due to a fault.

2001 ford windstar, van has been setting for a year, got my license back and went to start the van, no fuel pump noise, replaced fuel pump, started just fine drove it around for a day parked it now wo

Can you hear the fuel pump run, if not it may have failed again. I have seen new fuel pumps last a day or two and then fail. If your pump is working then replace the fuel filter. Anytime you open the fuel system, you should replace the filter.

Starter solenoid or just a starter bad, sometimes this comes out of nowhere but usually you can hear it start cranking slow shortly before failure.

I have a 2001 montecarlo ls . i drove it to work it was working fine i went out on lunch to start it my car said error and the passanger side started clicking now it wont turn on at all and the only light...

I would start by disconnecting the negative battery clamp and let it sit for a few minutes, then see if you still have the problem-if you do, get a digital meter and read voltage at the battery posts. If it is over 12.4 volts, turn the key to start with the lights on and see if the lights dim or go out completely. If they dim but will not turn the engine, you probably have a security alarm issue, if the lights go out completely, your battery is bad (bad cell or internally broken and shorted out). Can make more recommendations after these things are done.
