Question about Audio Players & Recorders
I am assuming you have the Zune dissasembled. If not email me and I will explain email@example.com. You first have to remove the hard drive. There are four screwws two at the top two at the bottom. This should allow you to release your drive. Now, this is I assume your problem. there is a white and black ribbon cable connector. The white part is stationary! Contrary to most laptop desighns. Find a thin device a knife tip will suffice as a last resort, but don't pry to hard it will break. Lift the black piece up, that will release the cable. Another thing about inserting the LCD ribbon cable you should know. There are slots on both sides of the white connector. This is where you insert the cable not above or below. Once done push down the black plastic retainer and the cable is secure. I assume you know the assemble portin since you have taking it aoart. Just reverse it. The connectors seems to be what stumps most people.
BTW Before you touch it discharge yourself to ground!!!! It takes VERY little static to ruin your components.
