The new firmware does not work, it disables the device LCD screen but the device is working, take batteries out, put them in to be sure the device is off, press DELETE+NEW and plug the usb with those keys pressed, release them, launch the program you used to flash the firmware and burn the original one (located on a directory in the download files). Once the process is finished, unplug the USB and voila you have your tablet working again. We should contact genius to tell them that the firmware update does not work.
