Question about Canon PIXMA iP1800 InkJet Photo Printer
I have a Canon ip 4000 and it blinks orange 12 times nothing has worked as I have just replaced the old with the new cartridges please can anyone help me I have tried the one when you have to hold both buttons down then turn on then push button twice while still holing one down and then pushing 4 times nothing seems to work after changing the cartridge the cartridge is hitting the body of the printer on both the sides when put to on
It sounds like the cartridge or one of the tanks may not be properly seated.
Pull out and then reinsert the ink tanks. Make sure they CLICK in firmly. Hold down the RESUME button for 5 seconds.
Click here for the Canon iP4000 cartridge replacement page.
Click here for info on reseating tanks.
Click here for the correct order of the ink tanks
Hope this helps.
