Turned power to house off, now fridge and freezer not cooling

The fridge was working perfectly before the power was turned off. The power was off for about a month. We are moving back in and the fridge is working but the fridge area and the freezer are not cooling.

There is no user manual and I am needing help!

You have a showroom switch that may have been turned on. it located at the top in the front middle. if that switch is on the lights will work but the motors will stay off

Back of freezer has frost and freezer wont cool to proper temp. icemaker etc also not working

Did you leave the freezer door open for a period of time while the refrigerator was running? Unplug and defrost the freezer manually with a hair dryer until all frost is removed inside and in back of the freezer. Reapply power and see if it will then cool/freeze properly. Let me know the results

Why is my smeg fridge not keeping anything cool

Hi...the same thing has happened to me. My Smeg Fab28 refrigerator compartment has stopped cooling. The freezer still works. There was a build up of ice on the back fridge wall, and the milk was freezing up, so I turned down the temp. After the ice melted, I heard a bang like a bunch of ice had dropped. I turned the temp back up but it steadily stopped cooling even more. I decided to defrost the freezer, and had the power off completely for about 5 hours. When I turned it back on, the freezer worked, but the fridge is not cooling AT ALL.

Did you fix the problem and if so, how?

Thank you
Bev

My freezer is working perfectly but the fridge is not

The channel in the back were the cool air comes down from the freezer to the fridge may be iced up. Try defrosting the fridge/freezer for much longer than usual, all day if necessary.
