Hi
could be several things,
are the dishes wet at all?
is there a puddle of water in the bottom ?
do you have children?

If the dishes are wet , then its not draining, up on top of the sink theres an aerator , pull the chrome cap straight up and under that is a white knob, unscrew that counterclockwise and look for debris, reinstall

theres a round white float inside the machine below the bottom rack near the front that can get stuck in the up position and prevent draining, grasp the float to see if you can get it to move up and down slightly, look under float for dishes/debris

look under the sink for kinked hoses with a flashlight, make sure all faucet knobs are turned on under the sink.

lastly, toddlers and small children can crank the control knob in the wrong direction, bending contact points in the timer, if thats the case , youll need a new timer..

good luck

J

Dishwasher beeps constantly and gives fault code that the flood switch has been activated. Neither drawer will trun off. It seems the fan keeps going, and is very noisy. It worked fine last night.

Hello there:
here is some ideas that will help you clean off the flood switch thatis causing the error
first unplug the power going to the machine
If you by accident overloaded the top drawer and this will allow water to get into the base an trigger the flood switch. which causes the error that you get .
Take the bottom drawer cover off first then took the whole drawer out and gently manuevere it to where u can get into the bottom of the unit.
use a towel and dry up any visible water.
use few paper towels to get into and under tight spaces.
now Take a blow dryer and blow the in the base for about 10 minutes. once there is No visible signs of water any where
put it back together and it should work . ok
Hope this is very helpful for you
Best regards MIchael

Bottom unit does not always seal and causes water to collect in bottom pan which throw unit into f1 status. Sometimes it stays sealed and is difficult to pull drawer out. Is there a way to reset the unit...

These dishwashers are very sensitive to grime collecting around the drawer edges. Try cleaning with a damp cloth by rubbing along the top edges and the sides where the drawer door sits flush with the body.

Also trun off power at the mains and then turn back on after a short wait.

Fisher & Paykel M#DD603SS - While not running F1 repair mssg

Actually the part is called a Link Actuator. There is one for the upper drawer and one for the lower. When the drawer is shut, it will actuate and the dishwasher will lift the drawer up against the upper lid. When the actuator is broken, this will trigger the flood switch which inturn triggers the F1 code. In the meantime, when the dishwasher is turned on, the water will shoot over the side walls of the drawer and get down below to damage the terminal block module.

Water does not drain!!

1. Open the door, remove the bottom rack and then then the lower wash arm and cover. The wash arm should be held by a large tumb trun. One you have the cover off, look for debris that may be blocking the wsh pump and drain inlet. After manu uses, sometime debris will accumulate.

2. If no luck, remove the front lower cover, find the attachment point for the drasin hose, remove the hose (out a shallow pan under it to catch any remaining water) and then unscrew (carefully) the check valve assembly. It's spossible something is stuck in the valve. When you reinstall it, do not overtighten it.

3. Of still no luck, it's possible the drain slinger is either plugged or worn. It resides under the pump impeller. Also check to see if the manual drain select switch works.

Water will not go into dishwasher

the first thing that happens when you trun on a dishwasher is it pupmps out then it fills if you open the door and see no water its not filling after the first pumpout now inside is a dome float that sits on top of a safty micro switch to prevent overfill pull the kick plate and see if that float rod is engaging the micro switch if not or the switch is bad it wont fill

There is no water coming in the dishwasher

The water pipe to your dishwasher is most likely split and/ or kinked.
