Question about Whirlpool Kitchen Ranges
The broil relay is shorted on the Electronic Oven Control (EOC) board. I've seen this many times. There is a separate relay model on the board for the bake and broil functions. You can try unplugging the unit, and lightly tap on the relay module to see if its just a stuck relay (believe it or not, sometimes this fixes the problem). There is a wiring diagram inside the operator console to assist you in, and in most cases, the components are identified and printed on the board. Otherwise, you will need to replace the EOC. Let me know if you have further questions, and/or need assistance locating parts. If you DO need a replacement board, please post back with you COMPLETE model number (located on a nameplate around the oven door opening, or lower drawer opening). I hope this helps you.
