Question about Motorola Cell Phones

1 Answer

I have a New Unlocked Motorla Razr v3x cell phone that will not register my SIM card. It constantly says NO SERVICE even with an active SIM card. Occasionally it will show service but if I try to do anything it drops the service and says NO SERVICE again. I have added MEdia Net to web sessions since it was not there. I have AT&T. There was no settings for AT&T or Cingular in web sessions. This phone was originally a 3. It was made in the UK. Can somwone please help me? I get no help when I contact AT&T since I did not purchase the phone from them.

I stated that I contacted AT&T and they would not help me. I told them I was an At&T customer and it didn't make a difference. Once they ask the question of where you got the phone and they find out it wasn't thru them they will not help you. I have tried going into a shop and using the phone support. Nothing on both. They don't have to help anyone they don't want to. It is called lousey service. That is why I asked here. I would not have asked here if my service had helped me when I had gone in as stated..

    thanks for trying to help

If you have an AT&T sim card they have to assist you...so you should take the phone into an AT&T outlet close to you.

I purchased a new phone and would like to transfer it to my plan in place of my old one. How do I do that?

If you have a sim card you can just put the sim card in the new phone. Otherwise you will need to contact your service provider.

Razr v3x sends mms only

Cleanup your Inbox/Outbox, and then pull out battery and sim card for 30 seconds. That should fix it up.

Got a motorola razr v3 on ebay. Not reading SIM card.

It may be caused that when you take out sim from old phome it has damaged, try for old one is it still working? if not then your sim is dead, also old phones made SIM-s to be bend and such SIM-s have difficlt electrical connection with new phones.
Also find if "this sim only" is activated in your phone.
It must give you signal, Insert sim card, or insert proper sim. If insert sim card warning card is damaged or have not enough good connection, if another, then this sim only is activated you first you must unlock it to work .

Locked sim card

Hi
you have entered the pin code wrong 3 times now you are required to enter a puk code to reset the pin code.

The puk code is sim card spesific it comes with the sim card when you get it or you can get it by calling your phone service provider of the sim card to get the puk code.

if you have entered the puk code wrong too many times you will make the sim card useless and you will have to contact your phone service provider for a new sim card, it will probably cost.

Motorola v3 razr

Try making sure the connection points for the sim are clean. After taking the sim out, gently but firmly blow into the area to dislodge any dust. Put the sim back in and cross your fingers.

My orange phone displays "subscription problem" at start-up

hello there ....its quite simple...you need to call the customer care of Orange and ask them to register and activate your sim card ..it is free...just keep the model number of your phone number handy (you will find that on the box in which you got the phone)...or the IMEI number (15 digits mostly) by dialing *#06# on your phone or beneath the battery or on the box near bar code....and your sim card number (19 digits mostly)on the back of your sim card the little chip that you put in your phone
that should solve the problem.....

you can also ask the for some freebies ...like text message ,photo and videos messages ...many companies promote them....always good to try something for free before you start using it ...lol

phone numbers

Pay monthly mobile customers
150 from your pay monthly phone or 07973 100 150 from any other phone

Pay as you go mobile customers
450 from your pay as you go phone or 07973 100 450 from any other phone

hope this help
Cheers
