Forgot password to my phone and now i cant make any call or text how do i fix the problem?

I'm afraid you'll have to hard reset your device, in order to get past the password request screen. You, most probably, already know that a hard reset will restore your device to its factory defaults, thus deleting all applications you have installed, as well as all your personal data and settings. Hope you have a recent backup, to be used afterwards.
Anyway, to hard reset it, first turn it off. Then press and hold the ENTER button, and whilst keeping it pressed, press the power button. Release the ENTER button only when further instructions come up on-screen, and press the Volume Up key to confirm the hard reset procedure.
Hope you are able to sort your problems out soon.
Regards, Carlos

I have a Palm Tungsten E. Whenever I try to hot sync there is always this error message as follows; An error occurred in the application you are using Note the error code and contact the developer of this...

Hi,

The Graffiti and the Backlight applications are not compatable and must be deleted.DO a hard reset (Press power button and reset until the Plam Logo screen shows, press up button - this brings you back to original factory setting, and potentially undoes all the stuff you did when trying to make the thing work), synchronize, hit home icon, press menu button, select delete, find Backlight, hit delete, find Graffiti, hit delete, and sychronize again.

My Blackberry is hanging on the Memory cleaning application. The front screen shows only the ''Timer''. When the phone is reset and the sim card removed the phone keeps going back to the same screen....

Dear user,
This type of problem came by the downloading of third party software which is not compatible with your device or Blackberry .

You have to delete some application form your device , which is not compatible of your device.
Or you have to reset/format your device .

How to delete third party application :
1 in screen menu è press “Option”
2 press “Advance Option”
3 press “Applications”
4 select third party application (which is in bold letter)
5 press the “Menu” key and Delete.
Please follow the below instruction “How to wipe the device”

1 in screen menu è press “Option”
2 Press “Security Options”
3 Press “General Setting”
4 Press the track wheel and select “Wipe Handset”
5 If you like to include the third party software , please check mark on “include third party application” then press “continue”
6 Type “blackberry” then press the track wheel and select OK

Your device is formatting now >>>>>>>

Roller ball won't go to the right (new blackberry curve)

Press hard on the ball and roll it rapidly in every direction. I have to do this about once every other week with my Bold. :/

Trackball will not go down. Pearl 8100

It has been in my experience with the 8100 that if you can't scroll a certain direction, there was debris on the roller preventing it from registering the roll. Turn the phone off, press down on the track ball (as if to press a button) roll the ball down (in your case). This may help dislodge whatever debris is caught in the roller. It has worked for me several times. You may want to try and clean the trackball as well with some rubbing alcohol and a q-tip.

If it were a software problem, then I would imagine you turning off the phone (battery pull) would clear this up anyways.

Best Regards,
Bill

Pearl roller ball

It might be a case where the track ball has some dirt or debris underneath it. First, turn the device off. Next, press down firmly on the track ball while at the same time rolling it in every direction. Hopefully that will knock loose any debris. Another tip to try is to wet your thumb with a little water and do the same thing.

If those two options don't work, you may try taking out the track ball and blowing out the slot with some compressed air. Below is a link that shows how to remove and clean the track ball:

I can't dial out.

The Phone application on the BlackBerry smartphone automatically converts phone numbers that include letters into the associated numbers.
To key a phone number that contains letters, press the right Shift key or the Alt key and type. The letters appear on your screen, but the BlackBerry smartphone translates them into the appropriate numbers when the phone call is made.
For example, to call 1-877-BLK-BERR (1-877-255-2377) from your BlackBerry smartphone,
  1. Open the Phone application.
  2. Type 1877.
  3. Press and hold the Alt or right Shift key and type BLKBERR.
  4. Display the menu and select Call 1877BLKBERR or press Enter. When the phone number is dialed, the letters are converted to numbers on the screen.
  5. To end the phone call, hold down the Escape key.
To return to the Home screen from any other screen, press the End key.
To lock the device, set a password. Hold the * key.
To unlock the device, press the * key. Click Unlock. Type your password.
To lock the keyboard, hold the * key.
To unlock the keyboard, press the * key

To switch the input language, hold the Alt key and press the Enter key. Continue to hold the Alt key and select a language. Release the Alt key to switch to that language.
To switch back to your original input language, press the Alt key + the Enter key.

I hope this helps

Reset

well for the reset to work the phone has to fully charged or atleast 75% charged. 1. pull battery out. 2. press and hold center navigation button. 3. put battery back in. 4. press and hold power key( red end key) until keyboard or screen lights up then let go of power key. 5. continue to press center key until a black screen with green lettering comes up that says master reset.
