Question about Televison & Video
Thats the error code for Overcurrent or over voltage protection shutdown. Which means the +5 v line is either shorted or overloaded on the A or B boards. I usually recommend that you replace the A board first as thats usually the cause, then if that doesnt do it the b Borad will need replacement. I have a link that has new Circuit boards available for your model if you would like the link.

You have all three projection tubes that are failing. This was a common issue for this year. Depending on serial number 2 of the 3 CRT's (green and blue) are no longer available. They will have to be pulled and rebuilt.

6 blinks is usually associated with failure of the horizontal
deflection amplifier - which shuts down the high voltage system as well.
The repair requires testing to determine the exact parts that have failed. There are, for example, a few hundred parts and a section of the Jungle IC chip involved. So, repairs could require something as simple as replacing some inexpensive passive components OR as complicated as replacing the jungle chip (very expensive).
most of the time it's the horz. transformer and transistor.

When a Sony TV flashes five times, that means that there is an AKB circuit fault.
Six blinks is also a fault related to video problems, and regards a fault concerning the digital board and the Jungle IC (the main CPU).
This means that there is something wrong with the video.
Try first unplugging power for few hours, if that does not work, call a technician, as several IC and components must be tested and eventually replaced.

Off hand I would con dim the Red and Blue CRT"s. If you were to replace two of them I would also do the Green CRT as well. The cost of just doing two of them is way too expensive in my opinion and you would be better served to replace the set instead of investing the amount of money needed in a 6-8 yr. old set.
Hope this helps,
