Yamaha Pianocraft E810 It makes an unusual noisy motor sound every time i put a dvd or CD (ever since I bought it 6 months ago). I was expecting a smooth, almost unnotocible noise of the motor when in use. Is this common for this model? I am thinking to take it back to the supplier since it is on guarantee still. Any advice is greatly apreciated. Thanks Ricardo

Ricardo! you should barely hear the motor when it is running, what you are describing is the pladder motor that turns the cd/dvd disc, you should not hear it when runs a dvd movie when audio is added, I think it would wise to take back to the supplier.

Bought 14 month old corsa 6 weeks ago, already faults with evaporiser valve, had to be replaced and no compression in one cylinder, head to be lifted and piston rings need to be fitted

Simple answer, NO! Unless this vehicle had been very badly treated, the symptoms you describe are VERY UNUSUAL and are more likely to occur in a vehicle (used normally) well over 200km!

Squeaky condenser fan motor on Carrier 3 ton central air. I oiled once 4 months ago and noise stopped but noise returned today. Is there a special oil for the berings?

Hello
Usually a light oil.Wd 40.
Most of these motors are sealed bearings, meaning they do not get oiled. When they start making noise it means the motor bearings are getting worn and the motor will need to be replaced soon.

I have got 5 to 6 months out of noisy motors using a light household oil or WD 40.

Over a year ago now I purchased a Yamaha Pianocraft RX-E700. This system works well save for when I plug the auxiliary output into the headphone jack of my laptop (in order to play song through it) ...

Probably a poorly shielded or grounded cable. Also check the laptop to see that it's audio output is sufficiently high.

Shouldn't the ouput of the Yamaha go to an input (nicrophone) on the laptop?

I have come across one DVR-S120 that has a shorted spindle motor. This is the motor that spins the disk. Therefor the unit will not play a cd or dvd. Yamaha sale's the complete dvd Assy. for $300 witch is absurd.
