Your fuses can have continuity and you still may not have high voltage to run the unit. Check your circuit breaker in your main power panel. It should be marked for the A/C .

The term for the cooling coil is Evaporator. The condensing unit is the outside unit and it does not have a drain.

My coleman air conditioner 7300 series is leaking water on the inside

Water in an air conditioner is generally condensation building up on the indoor coil. This happens when the temperature of the coil is below the current dew point of the atmosphere. You have possibly two issues going on.

1) the condensation drip line, which carries the water to the outside is blocked or disconnected (most likely blocked with wet dust build up etc) and can typically be cleared by using an air hose to blow the blockage clear.

2) excessive water can be an indicator that you may have a slow leak in the refrigerant system. reduced pressures will lower the temperature of the coil causing it to condense more water, more frequently. While you might enjoy the seeming better performance of the unit, if there is a leak it will eventually reach a point where the water will freeze(cutting off the air flow so no cooling) and eventually stop working altogether. Have a certified technician check your system for leaks. Remember that most rooftop units use R-22 refrigerant, not R-134a automotive refrigerant. The wrong refrigerant in the system can be very damaging to components and seals, and can cause the unit to function improperly.

I have a Tempstar 5000 that is about 15 yrs old and the fan motor to the outside unit will suddenly stop working and the compressor will start making a loud humming sound that does not sound too good. I...

Hello
Sounds like the condensor fan motor is going bad.If the fan stops turning or is not turning at full speed, the compressor can not give off heat to the condensor.Which will cause it to shut down on high heat.

So i would start with a new fan motor.Your local heating and cooling supply house should have these in stock.

Hi, I just purchased this used. It was working fine for one day, but now it won't turn on. Can u help? Haier CPN12XH9 12000 BTU Portable Air

If the water collection tank is full, it will not turn ON. Since you said the unit worked fine for one day and now it won't turn ON, more than likely, that's the problem. After draining the tank, the unit should reset itself and turn ON like it should.

The drain plug is on the rear of the unit, just above floor level. You can either drain it into a low sided pan or bowl that's capable of holding up yo a quart of water. O r roll the unit to a floor drain or outside to drain it. If you choose to drain it into a pan, turn the unit OFF & unplug it, before draining it.

I hope this helped you and thanks for choosing FixYa

Central air unit/ Lux500 thermostat

There is usually an overflow tray which has a shutoff valve when the tray is about to overflow water into your house. It is not located outside on your unit but inside where ever the condenser unit is. IF that tray is full of water, your unit will not turn on until it is emptied. Then you need to find out why the tray isn't draining...do you have a blocked drain pipe?

My Unit is running but is saying it is full

yes you do need to drain the water that has built up. there is a little hose with a plug in it located at the bottom rear under the exhaust hose. but be sure to drain it somewhere so that you don't ruin your floor. the water of course builds up from the ac's condensor. It doesn't take all that long to get full either.

Tank full light stays lit.

Under the water bottle is a drain hole, when the bottle overflows water runs down this hole through a pipe to a reservoir behind the condensor unit, there is a float in this reservoir that rises and clicks a switch that activates the full tank light and stops the machine working,
removing the stopper at the rear and emptying the reservior should do the trick,If the float does not go back down due to dirt in the machine the left hand side panel can be removed by taking off the top then the retaining screws, one inside at the top the rest in the back panel, remove the one screw holding the float switch unit and clean the black float.(Make sure it's not plugged in)
