Question about HP Color LaserJet 2600n Printer
My HP Color Laserjet 2600n worked flawlessly till the first year was up. I never turned it off I never did anything but put paper in the tray and replace toner cartridges. So far only black has needed to be changed. I have plenty of toner. I get a error message stating I may be on a VPN thus causing my printer to to "talk with"my computer. After much hunting I find that VPN stands for virtual private network. I have the printer plugged in via an earthlink connection to my Link-sys wireless router, and I access my printer wirelessly via that link sys router. It was working fine and then for no apparent reason if fails to print. Now it seems I have a $300 tempermental paper weight. Until now I swore by HP......now all I do is swear @ my HP. Help....I know it's got to be something really simple. I can manually print test pages and such but it will not print on command from my dell inspiron 1300 laptop. Namroch@aol.com
Connect to it through usb/parallel from your laptop, If this works then check your settings through your wireless connections,Hope that helps
