I tried switching off the breaker and waited for over half an hour before I switched it back on again. Howevre, the oven door is still locked and the control panel not working at all. Can anyone tell me what to do? How to find out where is wrong with this Westinghouse Wall Oven Model WBS74?

    Thanks a lot!!!

Try turning the breaker off for the oven. Wait a few moments then turn the breaker back on. See if the error message has gone away. If not you may need to repost with more information .

Stove pilot is on but oven wont light?

How do you know the pilot is on? Most likely if actually burning gas pilot, you have a bad oven thermostat. or perhaps valve. If your question is about the light switch itself, that is a different issue and somewhat confusing.

I have a Westinghouse LCD tv model SK-19H210S, The screen has gone white is this fixable?

Can be caused by a couple of things. LCD screen failure or main board failure. Either one would not be a cheap fix if at all possible.

I have an old double oven white -westinghouse stove and while i was at work the fuse blew in the basment. well i have reset it but now everything works but my stove. well my oven light will not come on...

Hi, sounds like your oven is a 240 volt electric.  One of your fuses is still blown. 240 volts requires 2 hot legs and obviously you have only one. When you turn on a burner, it completes the circuit to your light. Bottom line, you only have 120 volts to your oven, check the breakers or fuses. Good luck!

Controlpanel flashes f 3

You have a faulty keypad. You could probably special order this part from a local appliance parts supply store for 50-60$ or purchase a new microwave.

Numbers missing from Westinghouse oven knob, plus burner troubles

ok put a pan of water in your oven with a cooking thermometer in it. Turn your oven with the new knob you just got from repair shop. They are in the yellow pages Lots of laid of repair guys went out on there own. So they work at a lower price. As i was telling you.set your new knob @ 9:00 leave it there long enough to even out 10 minutes will do. next set it @10:00 next 11:00 @12:00 and so on. Till you get all your settings are compleat. When trying to pre-heat my oven, It won't until serveral attempts later (maybe 10 ). Then, after baking and stopping the oven, I get an F1 error! What's going on?

Hi,

F1 is listed as "Element Relay circuit Failure".

There will be a current switching relay to the oven - which is faulty - hence why you get the error when it realises it's not working.

This should be replaced to solve future problems.

For your reference, the fault codes are -
F0 Touch pad stuck in depressed position
F1 Element relay circuit failure
F2 Oven temp exceeded the clean runaway temp (self clean) -or- runaway temp (cooking modes)
F3 Short circu!t in oven temp sensor
F4 Open circuit in oven temp sensor
F5 - N/A
F6 Failure in the EEPROM check comparison (only time of day and timer will operate)
F7 Failure of Sef-C1ean auto door latch circuit.
F8 Failure of the door latch motor. Occurs when the motor runs for two minutes without the door locking Self-Clean mode.

If this resolves the issue, Please rate accordingly. Thank you.
