Adsl2+

posted by greatsyd on Jul 10, 2008

i bought a wireless G ADSL2 + Router from D-Link. I followed the instructions for setting it up from the included CD. But i always get stuck when it asks me to connect wire to the phone splitter thingy. It said I should wait for the ADSL led to light up. I did, but still it says "socket is not ready!"
Why is that? Is there maybe a difference with DSL and ADSL? is it beacuse I have a DSL connection and the wireless router that i boucht is fro ADSL?
