The fact that it fails on both computers tells you that the monitor is losing power. If your monitor uses an external power supply, you can replace that. If your monitor does not have an external power suplly (or brick), then you will most likely have to buy a new one, since monitor repairs cost more than just buying a new one anyway.

OK :-) I am guessing that your monitor is corrupted and I think it's the monitor's problem not the pc's. I would recommend for you to borrow a friend's monitor and test it own on your pc to make sure if it's the pc's problem. If it works fine that means you should buy a new monitor.

Hi all,my AIO OneTwo M3851 is showing only black screen when pressing power button.the fan is running power light is lit.what maybe the problem?

Dear Rei Garcia,
Simplest thing first: Check the monitor. If it is ok, then try booting into "SAFE MODE" ...Hang on Rei...just did a search on "AIO One Two M3851" & initial hits talk about a LAPTOP? You have posted in DESKTOP PC's? IF it is a laptop, then try pluging a known good monitor into the video-out socket - ( usually a VGA output); if the second monitor works ok, then you need a new monitor. If the 2nd monitor doesn't work, then it looks like your graphics adaptor may be "had it"? GBU!

Black screen when I turn it on, can hear things going on but can't see

Difficult to diagnose. If the hard disk LED flashes to show that the PC is booting up then the monitor may be faulty. Try another monitor if possible.
If the PC has two monitor connectors, then it may have a plug-in graphics card in addition to the built-in graphics card. In this case try connecting the monitor to the monitor connector.

Black screen just after boot window from USB

Sounds like either the monitor or video card inside the computer is bad. Try connecting another monitor to the computer. Borrow a monitor from a friend, neighbor, relative or co-worker and plug it into the computer. If the borrowed monitor displays ok, then your original monitor is bad. If the borrowed monitor does the same thing and not show a display then your video card inside the computer is bad.

Try start up in Safe Mode press F8. Choose Safe Mode, when at the choice window, to select either Safe Mode Desktop, OR System Restore, chooses system restore and choose a time before you had the "Problem" and follow instructions. This should get you back.

Monitor displays breifly then goes to blank screen

If tried the monitor on two other computers with the same result -- definitly your monitor is faulty. Take it to the repair shop. To make double sure, run your computer with another monitor. If everything is fine now; you can blame the monitor.

Emachines model 780 monitor comes on for one second then goes blank

CANNOT COMPUTE!!!! NEED MORE DATA! Is your monitor the problem or the computer? Try connecting the monitor to another computer. You can also try connecting a laptop with an external video adaptor to the monitor to test it.

Still having trouble with EMachines T3882

I feel your pain. I finally moved my pc to a room with no windows! But seriously, try a different monitor first. See if you can borrow someone's to just try it before you do anything else. If that borrowed monitor works fine, then you know what the problem is. (Which I believe is the problem.) By the way, what started all of your problems?
