Sounds to me like the bellt has slipped off. To replace, lift the platter off the table. On the inside of the platter you will notice a second ring, or rim. the belt should be put on the outside of the second rim while the platter is still in your hands. Next, slide back the platter and look for the spindle running the platter through one of the big holes in the platter. Slip the belt onto the spindle and turn with your hand to make sure it runs freely. Hope this helpsturntable won,t run when pluged - micmor100.jpg

My turntable won't spin - the spindle is fine and it makes half hearted efforts to move but will only **** a few times and then stop.

The self-lubricating bushing in the turn-table is dried out. This is a difficult problem to solve and best left to an expert. Don't expect great results.

How do i install a belt on technics turntable sl-bd22

If you remove the rubber pad, you should be able to grasp the metal table. A gentle tap onto the center spindle while pulling up on the table should release the table. Place the new belt onto the underside of the table. Replace the table onto the spindle. Then feed the belt over the motor hub.

HOW DO I INSTALL A TURNTABLE BELT FOR A SONY TURNTABLE

Under the felt of the turning section, there should be two rather large holes. Insert your thumb and forefinger and pull the table off. You should also see where the existing belt is running. Insert new belt around the motor first and replace the table section. Now, through the two holes, manouver the belt onto the table section until it spins freely

The turn table does not turn

Hello,

Since you didn't state the brand and model, I can only speculate that the spindle /turntable drive may be bound up or worn. Depending on the brand, you may be able to get replacemant parts to fix it but you will need to provide brand/model info on a repost.. If yoy remove the glass turnatble and the roller set... can you place a glass of water on top of the center spindle and run the micro for 20-30 seconds? While it is running.. does the glass rotate? If not... you may have a turntable drive motor failure... Need more info next time you post to assist you more accurately..

Good Luck

Turntables lags on pick up

I have the same exact problem with one of my 1210 MK2 turntables. It seems like the motor is too slow now. When I hit the start button or release the record, it takes much longer to speed up to the normal speed than my other same exact turntable. I don't think it has anything to do with the pitch slider. Please let me know if you find out what the problem is thanks!

My microwave turntable is scrubing the finish off the surface underneath the wheels of the turn table. this has exposed bare metal. Is it safe to use? Weare currently useing it with the turn table turned...

The floor will have to be sanded smooth and clean and dried thoroughly.

Then you can apply some high-temperature appliance paint, available from places like Wal-Mart, Lowe's or Builder's Square.

I would then leave the door open to let it dry untouched overnight.

You didn't mention your oven's brand or model, but it may be that the wheels on the turntable support are worn or there may grease built up in the axles.

Or you may need a new turntable support.

If you need to order a new one, please reply back with your brand and model number so we can help point you to the proper distributor.

Turntable power seems to be lightly surging

Sounds like a voltage regulator on the mothboard is going out. Avoid going in there, you really could fry yourself poking around in there. Check out these guys. They're top notch
