Problem for HP iPAQ RX3115 Pocket PC

On/off switch; also, no screen response

For some time my rx3115 could be turned on only by removing and reinserting the flash memory card. I set the system to turn itself off after 30 seconds if unused. What's going on here?
Now it turns on only with a hard reset - with the IPAQ plugged into external power. But there's no response from the screen when I try to enter my password! What's this all about?
