I have a packard bell butterfly notebook with a built in webcam. When I try to start up my webcam software i get an error saying camera not found - this did not happen last week when i tried to use it!

This could be due to missing or corrupt Webcam drivers. To resolve the issue, uninstall and reinstall the webcam drivers. Later perform the below steps to make necessary changes in Windows to run the webcam:

We need to start or enable the services for camera "Windows Image Acquisition (WIA)". Follow these steps.

1 Click Start
2 Type Run in the start search box and select it
3 Type "services.msc" and click on Ok
4 In the list, select the "Windows Image Acquisition (WIA)"
5. Double click the "Windows Image Acquisition (WIA)" service, and under the startup type select Automatic.
6. Click on "Start" button if it is stopped under Service status
7. Click on Apply and Ok

No video in Skype 3.8 with Logitech QuickCam Pro 9000

Sounds like your classic driver problem. Look in Device Manager and find your webcam. Right click on it an update driver/reinstall driver.

I can't get my webcam to work on my acer aspire one

In Control Panel --> System, in Device Manager, do you see your webcam listed there? If so, does Windows say if it's working normally?

If you see a webcam there but it isn't working, try uninstalling it in Device Manager, then rebooting and letting the Aspire find it and reinstall the drivers. That might square you away.

If not, go here...

http://www.acerpanam.com/synapse/forms/portal20.cfm?website=AcerPanAm.com&siteid=7117&areaid=2&formid=3394#results

and you can download drivers for your webcam from the Acer site. Be aware there are two webcams listed there, so download the right one. Post back how it goes.

Canon CanoScan LiDE 25 Flatbed code 39

Did the message say:
"Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)"

Download the Delete driver application from Canon's website and run it. After deleting this and rebooting, try installing again.
