Question about Computers & Internet
On this model, make sure the lid close switch isn't being held down. (it's a little black pencil tip looking thing sticking up above the keyboard near the wireless on/off switch) This will shut off the LCD on you even when the lid is open.
To test this, pull up on the lid switch with your fingernails or tweezers while you power on. If things work, then you'll want to remove the keyboard cover plastic (above keyboard) by removing the four screws under the battery and the chassis screws from underneath the system in that area. The cover will pull off easy if youslide it toward the LCD. Straighten out that switch lever with a flat screwdriver to raise it off the actual switch when everything is assembled. Now put everything back together and see if it worked.
