Phone it turns on and all but i can't do anything no text or even calling not even go to my menu the only thing ican do is go record a message but thats it what do i do and i have a sprint sanyo

click REPLY to the SPAM TEXT MESSAGES. In your message type this word in all capital letters:: STOP
If that does not work, enter your LG phone menu, go to your messages, find MESSAGE SETTINGS, there you will be able to find options that will help you BLOCK RECEIVING TEXT MESSAGES. It may also be found in PHONE SETTINGS, in the SECURITY SECTION under RESTRICTIONS. There you are able to BLOCK INCOMING/OUTGOING PHONE CALLS AND TEXT MESSAGES AS WELL...

Here is what you need to do:
First, make a blank voice recording. It can be 1 second, trust me and do it :)

Second: Go into your menu and go to ringer types for text messages.

Select voice recordings (or reminders) it is the second one on the list.

Select the recording you just made (the blank one).

Make sure you have a vibration selected for the texts.

And there you go! Put the volume on max and have a text sent just to make sure it works and you do not hear anything.

I just did this as a solution for a customer who did not want any noise for the texts, just the vibration. For it to vibrate, it needs to have a ringer selected. Something a tester overlooked, no doubt.

you have to clear your text messages folder. you have to many text messages and its making the phone lack the capability to make all features in the phone work properly

button on the right side of the phone...click it while on call and you are able to access all of your menus. it shows the icons for what you wanna do scroll and click and you can view txt and even send while on a call

try this. The menu names may vary depending on the model or even service provider. look for a simmilarly meaning menu name

For missed calls, made calls or received calls
Go to
menu, call history, erase History, then click on whichever option you want to clear it. you can also clear all.

if you only want to erase just one entry go to call history, go to the category you want(missed, outgoing,incoming) then scroll to your particular one and click options, erase

Assuming you want to erase the recipients of txt messages, go as if you want to send a text(menu, messaging, send message, text message.) then on recent list, scroll and select your desired entry and press options, erase

Just in case you change anything in the message settings, go to menu, settings, reset/restore.

Then switch the phone off and on again.

If it does not work, you need to take it to the Service Center.
