Hi, I have ibibo messenger installed in my home PC which is working fine and i downlaoded the same ibibo messenger software from the same source that is from ibibi.com and it is not working at my office. Its installed correctly and when i try to login with my username and password it says "CONNECTION TIMED OUT". what settings do i have to do??? please help!!!! Regards, Hifzulla.A

If the workplace is someone you work for then yo may have to go through your IT to allow this software, but if you are the Co. then your'e the boss, but it could still be to do with anti-virus and firewall preventing connection.

You will probably need to reset your router to get access to it again with a known username and password. BEWARE THIS WILL PROBABLY RESET ALL CONFIGURATION INFORMATION AND YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO COMPLETELY RECONFIGURE YOUR ROUTER INCLUDING POSSIBLY ISP SPECIFIC INFORMATION. If you cannot do this including knowledge of all the required answers and proceed anyway you may lose access to your internet connection until this is successfully done. Proceed beyond this point AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Follow the link below to determine the model of your router

Doing this will may require you to configure specific ISP required entries into your router to restore internet access, I do not know what those requirements are now. I may be able to research them if you provide information about your internet service provider such as their web site or help/support web site. Be aware that you will require all answers for this before doing it as you may not have internet access again after starting this until you successfully complete this. With all the previous warnings in mind you can consider the following step.

Using the instructions in the user guide you can probably reset your router and get access to the configuration.

SOURCE: Don't know the username to "http://192.168.0.1" router Level One.

try username blank if you didnt set any username.also password blank. or if you have set a pass use that. have you changed it from the default ?
only way to get in your router if you dont know your username and password is to reset it.. sorry.

If you are trying to access the router itself via it's IP address (192.168.X.1) where X is usually 0, 1 or 2...
The username and password should both be admin
if not, try no username with admin as the password, or try admin as the username with no password.

The formula for successful downloads and log ins is a squeaky clean browser
I downloaded a new browser ( firefox) to install messenger 9 and it works fine ( vista home premium and messenger 9 ) If you do not uninstall your old messenger you will have conflicts download ccleaner ( free software ) run the cleaner through a couple of times including the registry section from the left hand toolbar uninstall messenger, restart your pc, download firefox and install using firefox Get in the habit of cleaning your browser with ccleaner before shutting down for the night. Messenger & logitech ultravision webcam connection issues

  1. uninstall all logitech software
  2. unplug the cam
  3. reboot the pc
  4. plug in the camera without the software
    will enumerate under microsoft drivers.
  5. open the software and see if the cam is populated now.
  6. if not check the device manager see if the camera is enumerated correctly
  7. uninstall from the device manager and reboot the pc
  8. the try the software again
  9. if no cam options
  10. turn off antivirus reinstall the messenger and try cam again without software.
  11. still not working contact messenger support.

No network connection for yahoo messanger 8

first uninstall yahoo messaanger from control panel add remove program.

Then downlaod new yahoo im from here then install then problemis fixed .

Works perfect on laptop doesn't work on desktop computer

Solution

I think this is a driver issue. So make sure that if for instance you have VISTA on your other system and it worked fine with vista whereas on the home you got XP and you expected it to work tough luck! You got to make sure that you installed the proper driver for the OS. If you do not have this on the CD which came with it go to the lifecam vx3000 site and downlaod the driver suitable for your OS.


If still no luck with this I think I know what might solve the issue

1. Uninstall the webcam driver (from control panel ... add / remove hardware find webcam and remove)
2. Uninstall yet another time MSN Messenger
3. Disable any other webcam that you might have from the device manager as you didnt say if the you already got another webcam on home pc.
4. Download tunieup utilities install trial and run registry cleaner ... clean the whole registry for 2 - 3 times until its perfectly clean. Install the new driver you just downloaded
5 . Reboot
6. Install MSN Messenger
7. Reboot
