How do you turn off the ringer (by 2 users)

I am trying to figure out how to turn off the ringer on the fax machine. Please help me. Thanks

I want to silence the ringer in my fax machine, so I am not interupted during a private counseling session. Can you help?

On printer control panel, select setup, then select #4 (basic fax setup), then #6 (ring & beep volume). Select OK, then press either the left or right arrow until "OFF" appears - then press OK. This will turn off the ringer for the fax machine and will also silence the keypad tones.
