Problem turning power on

I recently had a problem turning on my laptop. It got switched off suddenly while I am using it and I am unable to turn it on again. No lights can be seen even though I press my power button. I removed the battery and placed it back but it did not work out. Battery is in good condition. The power cord is working fine but when I try to connect the power cord to the laptop, the light on the power cord is also turning off. Please let me know the problem and solution for this. I appreciate your help.
Thank you,
RK

Unable turn on canon 60D i was reviewing the photo

Remove the battery and memory card, switch the power switch on for a few seconds and then switch it off. Make sure the battery is fully charged, re-insert the battery and try to switch on again without the memory card in.

Laptop not being powered on

Did you get the battery checked? OR maybe it's an issue with the PowerJack connector on the motherboard...have it checked ASAP.... Also take out the battery and plug straight from the wall jack using the Adapter to ckeck if power is coming.
